SirRod Stewart‘s accolades continue to grow, as it was just revealed that the British singer-songwriter will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs).
In a joint announcement on Tuesday, CBS and Dick Clark Productions praised the 80-year-old’s “incomparable career, body of work, and unparalleled contributions to music for nearly six decades,” noting the award recognizes Stewart’s “lasting legacy and continued influence on generations of artists and fans.”
To celebrate, the Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is set to deliver a performance on the AMAs stage for the first time in over two decades.
According to the May 20 release, Stewart will perform “one of his timeless classics, marking his first time on the AMAs stage since 2004.”
