Charles Barkley has went viral multiple times amid the NBA playoffs, thanks to his bold guarantees and hot takes.
Recently, Barkley sparked debate when he said Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn’t have to change teams amid the trade rumors that have followed the superstar forward since the Milwaukee Bucks’ playoff exit.

During the NBA playoffs series between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets, Sir Chuck raised eyebrows when he called some Dubs players “stupid” for the way they were playing.
On Tuesday, Barkley made headlines once again. This time, however, for an entirely different and rather positive reason.
During the 46th Annual Sports Emmy Awards, held at the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City, Barkley was recognized for his work on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” with the Outstanding Personality/Studio Analyst award.
Charles Barkley was up against CBS’ Nate Burleson of CBS and ESPN’s Ryan Clark, Kirk Herbstreit and Dan Orlovsky.

It is not the first time that Barkley has won the award at the Sports Emmys, as he has gained the same recognition back in 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2020.
Barkley is also not the only member of the “Inside the NBA” crew to win a Sports Emmy on Tuesday night. In another announcement, Ernie Johnson earned the award for Outstanding Personality/Studio Host.
Johnson was up against NFL Network’s Scott Hanson, CBS’ Kate Scott, NBC’s Mike Tricio and ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt.

As the NBA playoffs continue, fans should still see more of Barkley and his entertaining personality. Perhaps supporters will see him brag about his latest award when “Inside the NBA” airs next.
